Reward offered for sea lion shooting information

SAUSALITO, Calif.

Two branches of the Humane Society are now offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who shot the sea lion.

A beachgoer discovered him in Sausalito in early December suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Marine Mammal rescuers named the sea lion Silent Night --he's now blind in his right eye and will not be able to return to the wild.
