Vallejo man arrested on drug and weapon charges

VALLEJO, Calif.

Scott Clemente, 33, was detained by county sheriff's deputies during a traffic stop around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Cadloni Lane in Vallejo.

The deputies had a warrant to search Clemente's Cadloni Lane apartment and his vehicle, Solano County sheriff's Lt. Gary Faulkner said.

Deputies found $1,100 in cash and a Ruger .45 caliber handgun and ammunition in Clemente's vehicle, Faulkner said.

During a search of Clemente's apartment, narcotics investigators found four ounces of methamphetamine, four ounces of marijuana, 22 Ecstasy pills, 39 Vicodin pills, digital scales and packaging materials, Faulkner said.

Clemente was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sales, possession of marijuana for sales, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a concealable firearm and being a felon in possession of ammunition, Faulkner said.

The investigation was conducted by the sheriff's office, the California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team, and the Solano County Narcotics Enforcement Team.
