Our media partner the Oakland Tribune is reporting that a man and a teenage boy are in surgery after they were struck in a drive-by shooting.
Oakland police say one of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries. The shooting occurred just after 3:30 p.m. on the 3600 block of Foothill Boulevard in east Oakland.
Three people were initially detained, but at least one has since been released.
