Fourteen percent of 4 and 5-year-olds can tie their shoes, but 21 percent know how to use a smartphone or iPad app. And 52 percent of kids aged 2 to 5 know how to ride a bike, while 58 percent can competently play computer games.
Some experts worry that all this tyke tech wizardry may come at the expense of so-called life skills -- such as writing your name, tying your shoes, or making breakfast.
The study was done by online security firm AVG.
