Windsor man arrested for third DUI

WINDSOR, Calif.

CHP officers saw a Nissan Pathfinder traveling at approximately 90 mph on southbound Highway 101 near Railroad Avenue south of Cotati around 1:15 a.m., CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.

They pursued the Nissan and saw it weaving and almost rear-ending another vehicle in the slow lane, Sloat said.

The officers stopped the car near Pepper Road north of Petaluma and detected signs of intoxication in the driver, 29-year-old Victor Lamount Alejos, Sloat said.

The officers determined Alejos' driver's license was suspended, and that he had a prior conviction for driving without a license and two prior DUI convictions, Sloat said.

Alejos was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of DUI and driving with a suspended license, Sloat said.
