Berkeley's school board has agreed to fund more security at Berkeley High School to stop guns from being brought on campus.

Police have arrested seven students this school year for bringing guns on campus. Last month a student fired a gun inside of a restroom. Nobody was hurt.

The Oakland Tribune reports the $89,000 will put a police officer on campus five days a week instead of four. The school will also hire two more security guards.
