SAN FRANCISCO --Musician Emily Cox was reunited Saturday with the $23,000 violin that was stolen from her. On Thursday, a suspect turned in the instrument to a priest at St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco. Cox picked up the violin from police at the Northern Police Station.
Police credit one of Cox's classmates at the Conservatory of Music with following the thief. She helped police identify the suspect who was arrested shortly after he turned it in.
