BART will shut down one of two tracks in the Transbay tube after the last train Sunday evening.
Work on the Transbay tube will extend until 2:30pm on Monday. Passengers traveling from stations in San Francisco and the Peninsula toward Dublin or Fremont will need to transfer at the 12th Street Station in Oakland durnig the maintenance period.
Passengers who are traveling from the East Bay into the city will experience delays of up to 40 minutes on Monday.
BART will shut down the same portion of the track next weekend.
