The mothers of Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer, currently awaiting trial on the espionage charges, claim Fattal was pushed down the stairs of a Tehraon prison because he took extra food. The mothers also claim Bauer was thrown by guards against a wall so hard that his head started bleeding.
The reports come from the third hiker, Sarah Shourd, who was released on humanitarian grounds last year.
Shourd and the mothers of Bauer and Fattal have been on a rolling hunger strike to protest the men's detention.
Bauer and Fattal's trial continues to be postponed in Iran.
