DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for managing day-to-day Programming & Creative Services Department operations including: staff timesheets, travel, supplies, maintenance, business projects/research and providing support to 25+ employees. Scheduling the shifts of different work groups is required.
This position works closely with the Finance Department on billing, processing invoices and expense reimbursements, and with the Traffic Department on the daily input and tracking of promos. The assistant will also answer viewer calls and letters. This position will provide administrative support to the Vice President of Programming & Creative, Executive Producer, Creative Services Manager, and other managers as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: BA degree and/or similar degree in business or bookkeeping experience preferred. Experience in a medium to large company a plus. The candidate must be detail-oriented, work well under pressure with tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Ability to carry responsibility, take initiative, and problem solve. Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as strong writing and organizational skills. Strong PC skills with spreadsheets and word processing in a Windows environment are both required. Knowledge of SAP or TV Traffic systems a plus.
