Monday, the transit agency unveiled the three final concepts for the interior design of the next generation BART trains.
Do riders want more space for bikes? More standing room? Or more face to face seating like one design offers?
"This is community spacing. Basically people can face each other or sit at angles of each other instead of sitting forward. It gives people an opportunity to talk," said BART spokesperson Linton Johnson.
The new trains will also have an electronic screen on the exterior that will change color depending on the destination.
