Oakland police are investigating three separate shootings that injured two children, a teenager and three adults early this morning and Sunday night.

The first shooting was reported in the 5400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way around 9:25 p.m. Sunday, Oakland police Officer J. Moore said. Investigators determined gunfire injured a teenager, who was driven to the hospital in stable condition, he said.

About 15 minutes later, police responded to the 6900 block of Spencer Avenue and found a man, woman and two children suffering from gunshot wounds, Moore said. All four were transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Early this morning, a man was seriously injured in the third shooting. Officers received reports of gunfire near the 1200 block of East 22nd Street around 1:40 a.m., Moore said. It appears the victim was driven to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition as of about 2:15 a.m., he said.

The suspects in all three shootings remain at-large, Moore said. Those with information regarding the shootings are urged to call the Oakland Police Department at (510) 777-3333.
