A bit of San Francisco's past is being revealed in several murals now under restoration.

The murals are actually advertising signs from the 1930s that were painted on the side of buildings in the Tenderloin area.

Only half of the Coca Cola sign was restored and that's because as it was being refurbished, an older ad for a telegraph school was revealed underneath.

The murals are located near the old Original Joe's Restaurant at Taylor and Eddy streets.
