You might have guessed it, many folks can't resist the chance to make a buck. On Tuesday, there was a huge rush to buy merchandise specially designed by Missoni for Target stores for a low price. Everything from clothing to bicycles sold for a fraction of normal prices for Missoni designs. It emptied shelves and crashed the Target website.

"It has absolutely exceeded every expectation. Guests came swarming into the stores and grabbed as many things as they can possibly carry," said Dustee Jenkins, vice president of communications at Target.

Well today hundreds of those items turned up on eBay and on Craigslist at greatly inflated prices. Sweaters, dresses and throw blankets selling for double and triple the retail cost and more.

A limited edition bike is offered on Craigslist for $1,600 -- four times the retail price.

Target says it's aware of the online auctioning it urged customers to buy directly from Target to get fair prices and authentic items.
