Sketch of triple murder 'person of interest' released

SAN LEANDRO, Calif.

The person of interest is described as a black male with a light complexion, 18 to 21 years old, with a thin mustache, bleached tips on his shoulder-length dread-locks, and a diamond embedded in four of his gold teeth.

Police want to talk to him about the shooting deaths of 16-year-old Laneasha Northington, 23-year-old Joshua Alford, and 19-year-old Shanice Kiel. All three were shot to death outside a building early Sunday morning following a tattoo-themed party.

Police believe there was more than one shooter.

"There were at least two shooters, wearing dark, hooded sweatshirts," San Leandro Police Sgt. Doug Calcagno said. "Again, one of the things we're trying to confirm is if the suspects just got there or if they were actually in the party or outside in the parking lot. That's one of the pieces of information that's kind of important for us right now."

Three people were also wounded in the attack. Two of those remain hospitalized.
