Religious leaders to join 'Occupy SF' protesters

SAN FRANCISCO

Those religious leaders will offer prayers and supports, and then will take part in a march starting at Justin Herman Plaza Monday morning at 10:30 a.m.

On Sunday, demonstrators called for a day of learning where, according to posts published on Twitter, occupiers are holding talks to build a consensus on their next non-violent course of action.

In Oakland, police began cracking down on parking violators around the occupy encampment at Frank Ogawa Plaza. Police have been issuing parking citations along 14th Street where cars have been stopping to give the protesters donations.

The demonstrators are still camped out despite warnings from police throughout the weekend announcing the closure of the park from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
