Apple founding documents go up for auction

The documents once belonged to Ronald Wayne, the company's little-known third founder. Wayne was known as a father figure to the late Steve Jobs and acted as a tie-breaker when jobs and co-founder Steve Wozniak disagreed.

Wayne once owned 10 percent of Apple, but sold his share for $800 when the company was just 11 days old. Apple is now valued at $350 billion. Wayne's share could have been worth over $2 billion.

Sotheby's is auctioning the documents Dec. 13. They are worth as much as $150,000.
