San Jose offers to drop charges against Occupiers

Dozens of Occupy San Jose protesters who are facing prosecution could be off the hook if they agree not to set up camp at City Hall Plaza for the next two years. That's the deal the city of San Jose is offering.

At least 25 people were arrested for trespassing during the City Hall campout.

Monday, the city attorney's office sent out compromise notices for occupiers to sign, in exchange the city will drop all civil charges against them. That includes one prominent protester, Sean O'Kelly, who climbed a 36-foot wall outside City Hall and stayed there for about a month.
