DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Archivist position for a Tape Preservation project that focuses on the classifying, labeling and ingesting of tapes from the KGO Television libraries. Other duties include tape cleaning, loading and unloading tapes into the ingesting robots, limited VTR maintenance, quality review of completed tape files and serving as on-site assistance for the remote project engineers.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work Monday - Friday. Good hand to eye coordination, manual dexterity and the ability to sit for long periods of time are required. You must have a positive attitude, be detail oriented, punctual and have reliable transportation. This is a non-union position.
Background clearance will be required.
