The Oakland Tribune reports that city officials are fed up with the violence, drugs, dog bites and filth at the camp in Civic Center Park and they are threatening arrests and citations.
A city councilman also wants to start issuing stay-away orders to troublemakers.

The city manager's office handed out a memo to campers this week saying the situation in the park is unacceptable, and detailed some of the crimes recorded there by police in the past eight weeks.
