Man who swore off lottery wins $1M with final ticket

SAN FRANCISCO

The man, identified only as Javier V., had made a New Year's resolution to stop playing the lottery and played just one last ticket at Glaze Donuts at 4499 Mission St.

To Javier's surprise, the single "$250 Million Cash Spectacular" ticket he purchased instantly paid $1 million.

The donut shop where he purchased the winner will also receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Asked what he was going to do with the money, Javier said, "I really don't know because I still don't believe it."
