Lying easier in text message than in person

Twitter, Facebook and text messaging are all easy ways to keep in touch, but a new study suggests they could also be a convenient way to lie.

The reason? Researchers found it's easier for people to fib in a text message than in person or on video because there's less fear of being scrutinized.

The study will appear in the March edition of the Journal of Business Ethics.
