Woman busted for selling fake Facebook stock

OSHKOSH, Wisc.

Marianne Olsen, who also goes by three other last names, appeared in court Wednesday. One of her victims accepted the stock in lieu of payment for work he did at Olsen's house then, bought more of the stock for $10,000 cash.

"I think it's a great opportunity. It's a growing business so on and so forth. I'm interested in my options and investments, so you don't have to work as hard and make a little easier money for my kids and family and so on," victim Randy Stafford said.

At least five people are victims of Olsen's scam including her own daughter who received stock as a Christmas gift.

Facebook stock, of course, is not available. The company announced Wednesday that it will go public, but not until later this year.
