Lawyers for three Occupy Oakland activists arrested for robbery say the charges are a blatant attempt by Oakland police to discredit and intimidate them.

All three were arrested on February 22nd.

Police say they stole a woman's wallet after she asked them to protest somewhere else.

Their lawyers say the woman used derogatory speech and was an active participant in the altercation. They also say the district attorney would be better off prosecuting, "the corporations that looted our economy."
