A section of an Emeryville street is closed this morning after a water main break, according to Emeryville police.
Hollis Street is blocked off from 59th Street to Powell Street -- which runs one block -- because of a broken water main. Police received reports about the break around 1:30 a.m.
Police said there are some buildings under construction in that area.
Police have since left the scene, however, East Bay Municipal Utility District crews are working to clear the road.
The other break is in Berkeley at 7th and Addison. There is some street damage, but no homes flooded after a six inch water main broke. There are 20 customers without water until it is fixed. East Bay MUD is on scene.
