The 14-year-old from Texas verbally committed to the powerhouse football program, and he hasn't even graduated junior high yet.
Tigers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron offered Dinkelmann the scholarship this past Friday. Three days later, Dinkelmann made the nonbinding oral commitment.
"I like LSU because they're an SEC team and they make a run for the championship every year," Dinkelmann told KENS5.
But the child prodigy has a while to make up his mind. He can't sign his national letter of intent until February 7, 2018.
