David works full-time as a deputy district attorney for the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, a position he has held since graduating from UC Hastings College of the Law in 1999. David is currently assigned to the real estate fraud division, where he prosecutes all manner of real estate fraud crimes. David has tried over 40 jury trials to verdict, including murders, robberies, child sexual assaults, DUI's and domestic violence cases.
Prior to law school, David worked in the Washington, D.C. office of the late Congressman Robert T. Matsui. David was also an adjunct professor at the UCLA Graduate School of Education, and prior to that was a public school teacher in Los Angeles, teaching 7th grade world history. In addition to his J.D. from Hastings Law School, David has a M.Ed. from the UCLA School of Education, and a B.A. in political science from UCLA. David is married with two children.
