Kaiser Permanente struck a tentative agreement on Friday, at 3 a.m., with 100,000 workers around the country.

It gives Kaiser's California workers annual pay rises of three percent, maintains fully paid health care coverage, a defined-benefit pension plan, and health care for retirees.

It also sets performance goals and provides financial incentives for employees to improve their health and reduce the company's health care costs.
