3,000 attended Businesswomen's Conference

SAN FRANCISCO

Women on Taiko drums woke up the crowd bright and early.

It's the 23rd annual Professional BusinessWomen's Conference and it was sold out. ABC7 News anchor Cheryl Jennings had the privilege of opening the morning session. The goal for the women is to inspire and connect with each other.

"We are focusing on having them be fearless and reach for the highest. And we give them examples of women who have achieved great things. We are here today, just to inspire them to set no limits," said Debi Hemmeter from the PBWC.

The lieutenant governor's wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, hosted a special young women's summit for high school girls as well.
