Police make arrests in SJ karaoke bar homicide

SAN JOSE, Calif.

The fatal shooting outside Happioke, a karaoke bar at 2114 Senter Road, occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Responding officers encountered a large crowd but eventually located the 25-year-old victim in the parking lot. The man, who had been shot at least once during a confrontation, was pronounced dead at 2:54 a.m., police said.

Although the suspects fled the scene, a patrol officer spotted a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description and stopped the car on King Road in east San Jose.

Three suspects -- Jimmy Ho, 18, Johnny Le, 19, and Andy Ho, 18, all believed to be from Union City -- were taken into custody shortly after the shooting, police said.

Additional investigation linked the men to the crime, and all three teens were booked into Santa Clara County Jail at about 3:30 a.m. today, police said.

Le and Jimmy Ho were booked on suspicion of murder, and Andy Ho was booked on suspicion of being an accessory to murder, police said.

The shooting is San Jose's 18th homicide of the year and the city's eighth gang-related homicide of 2012, according to police.
