Shannon Callahan and her husband bought a 2004 Grand Am in January at a Sacramento used car lot. Callahan pulled a 14 karat wedding band from under the front seat three weeks ago. It had a date of 1961. Callahan has been trying to track down the owner ever since, but it hasn't been easy.
"We're going back to 1961 for a marriage, so they could be 50's, 60's, 70-years-old," Callahan said.
The car had one previous owner in Texas, but privacy laws have kept her from getting contact information. The car was previously in a crash years ago and the ring may have gotten lodged in the seat when it was put back together.
