Firefighters have stopped a fire from spreading in San Francisco's Mission District. The fire broke out around 5:20 p.m. Sunday.

It appears the blaze started in a cottage behind a larger house, near Capp and 24th streets. Crews called for reinforcements to help keep the fire spreading from the cottage to any other buildings.
