Kids get new clothes, supplies thanks to Dream campaign

ABC7 News wants to thank all of you who have been part of the ABC7-Sleep Train Foster Kids Dream Campaign.

We are happy to report the number of donations has doubled. Foster A Dream organizers say the response was so overwhelming, they almost ran out of warehouse space.

Now it's time to give it all away. Saturday children will stop by the Dream Store and pick-out everything they need.

"If I can say it without crying, just thank you! It may seem like it's just a pair of shoes or a new coat, or even a back pack filled with school supplies but to our kids -- it's something that belongs to them and that's something that we can't replace," Foster A Dream Program Director Tamara Earl said.

Thanks to your generosity, hundreds of foster children will receive new clothes, new shoes and back packs filled with school supplies.
