Math teacher Sharon Sweet supposedly asked her students to sign a pledge they would vote for Obama for president. She's on leave from Brevard Community College while officials investigate the claim.
One student says he signed the pledge out of fear he would get a failing grade. "I read it and on the top right, it read, 'I pledge to vote for President Obama and all the Democrats up and down the party,' and I was like oh. I asked her why was it necessary for me to sign this and she said, 'Because I passed it out," the student said.
Brevard Community College officials plan to interview all of the teacher's students. The school says it doesn't allow employees to solicit support for a political candidate on school property.
