An exhibition of one of the oldest forms of film production opens Friday at the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio. It's called "Between Frames: The Magic Behind Stop Motion Animation."

In stop motion animation, figures are filmed for one frame and then painstakingly and slowly manipulated to move and change shape. It inspired Walt Disney and now it is getting new recognition as an art form.

ABC7 News arts and entertainment reporter Don Sanchez got a preview of the new exhibit being displayed in San Francisco because of stop motion animation's Bay Area history.
