SAN JOSE, Calif. --The owners of San Jose's newest casino have filed a claim against the city.
The M8trix card room says a convoluted permit process pushed back its opening by four months. It's asking for at least $10,000 for what it's calling the "unpredictable nature and frequent delays" in San Jose's licensing process.Filing a claim is the first step toward filing a lawsuit. The M8trix Casino planned to open last April. It didn't end up opening until August.
