San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan swapped his uniform for a Taco Bell t-shirt Tuesday afternoon to help hand out free tacos.

Hundreds of people lined up at the Taco Bell in Redwood City to catch a glimpse of Pagan, get a taco and maybe even an autograph.

The fast food chain was giving away tacos as part of a promotion relating to Pagan stealing a base during Game 2 of the World Series.

Pagan says he wants to be an example for young kids living in underserved communities.

"I grew up in the projects and whoever comes from there and thinks nothing is possible they are wrong; if you believe you can accomplish many things, look at me, we just won the World Series," Pagan said.

It took a little coaching, but Pagan was quick to pick up how to prepare the perfect taco and even put in a little time to take orders at the drive through window.
