Women turn to 'vampire facelift' to take years off

Some women are turning to a so-called "vampire facelift" to take years off their looks.

First, blood is taken from your body and then the platelet rich plasma, or PRP, is separated out. It is then injected into your face.

Doctors say there's no fear of rejection because it's a patient's own blood. And that means grafts enriched with PRP also have a better chance of survival than other techniques. Doctors say they heal faster as well.

Some doctors are mixing platelet rich plasma with traditional fillers, with the idea the PRP will help the fillers last longer.
