Police find missing girl with autism in San Francisco

OAKLAND, Calif.

A 16-year-old girl had walked away from a group home on Coolidge Avenue in Oakland on Wednesday evening and was followed by the home's staff to an area near the Fruitvale BART station.

The staff members lost sight of White there, and she was reported missing. She was considered at-risk because of a diminished mental capacity.

She was located in San Francisco this evening and is being interviewed by police, but police have not revealed the circumstances of her return.
