Now for the ultimate gift for the cat lover in your life -- you've probably heard of those DNA tests to learn more about your ancestry. Well now there's one for your cat.

It is the Feline Genetics Laboratory's cat ancestry test. It uses a DNA sample from your cat to determine if your pet's parents or grandparents belong to one of 29 common cat breeds.

The test was developed by the U.C. Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory.

According to the lab, the results are 90-percent accurate. But it's not cheap -- the test will set you back about $120.
