It's not unusual to see bears in the foothills, especially on trash day. The bears left a mess all the way up the street, knocking down trash cans as they searched for food.
A photographer captured footage of the three bears around 1 a.m. Monday. The mama bear came down first, scoped out the street, walked back up the hill and then returned with her two cubs.
After rummaging through all the trash, the bears made their way back up the mountain. The bears were spotted digging through trash in the same neighborhood last week right before trash day.
