The victim said the man grabbed her by the wrist after offering her a ride. The girl pulled her arm away and ran home.
It happened as the girl was walking in the 1100 block of Appian Way on her way home from school at about 2:30 p.m.
The victim told police the suspect is a white man about 19 or 20 years old, standing about 6 feet tall, with a thin build and was driving a silver four-door car.
The suspect is described as having slicked-down short black hair, with a brown goatee and a piercing in his right eyebrow.
