SF culinary students, teachers raise money for Boston

SAN FRANCISCO

They made over 30 gallons of the creamy soup. The money raised will go to those affected by the explosions, especially those at a sister school located near the blast site.

"They're shaken up and they're out of sorts," said Michael Weller with the California Culinary Academy. "So it's a time to reach out and give them some warmth and let them know that they're thought of around our country."

Similar fundraisers were held at all 16 Cordon Bleu Culinary schools in the U.S.
