There was a 3.4 earthquake that hit on Thursday at 10:12 p.m. 8 miles northeast of San Jose.

There are no reports of any damage.

People in South Bay and East Bay cities are reporting they felt the earthquake. Some said the shaking lasted between four to seven seconds. The light quake was largely felt in San Jose and Milpitas.
