Two families in Napa have been forced out of their homes after a tree fell and started a fire.

It came down on top of a three-apartment house at Wilkins and Imola Avenue at about 10 a.m. The tree also brought down power lines. It started a small brush fire.

Firefighters knocked out the fire as PG&E arrived to clean up the power lines. An inspector red-tagged two of the apartments with structural damage.
