Santa Cruz County health officials have confirmed one case and the person did eat the Townsend Farms Organic Anti-Oxidant Blend Berries.
Annie Hard of Petaluma is concerned she says she has symptoms. For two months, she's been blending the berries into smoothies to strengthen her weakened immune system because of kidney failure and chemo.
Hard says she's gotten calls from Costco, the CDC, and the FDA. She said she planned to go to a local lab Thursday for a hepatitis blood test.
