The death of a man found just after 1 a.m. Saturday in South San Jose is being ruled by police as suspicious, but not considered a homicide at this point, according to San Jose Police Public Information Officer Albert Morales.

Morales said the man was found with visible injuries and was pronounced dead at 2:12 a.m. in the 300 block of Indian Broom Drive.

As a matter of protocol, homicide detectives and the coroner have responded to the scene to investigate, according to Morales.
