Police investigate stabbings in Mission, Tenderloin neighborhoods

SAN FRANCISCO

The first stabbing was reported at about 5 p.m. in the 100 block of Hyde Street. Police said it appears one woman stabbed another woman twice during an argument, then fled in a vehicle.

The victim was taken to a hospital.

Then, at about 10 p.m., a stabbing was reported in the 1200 block of Treat Avenue in the Mission. The victim in that case, a homeless man, had suffered a stab wound to the chest but told investigators he didn't know who stabbed him, police said.

He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
