Lenin Cruz was telling a local news crew all about the rash of shoplifters at Family Foods in Orlando when he ran after a man, he believed, had stolen items from his store just days before.
Cruz then violently took the suspected thief to the ground.
This wasn't the first time Cruz had taken down a shoplifting suspect. Cameras were rolling when he chased after a suspected meat stealer who punched an employee.
Another time, Cruz put a suspected thief in a wrestling move.
One of the men Cruz took down pleaded no contest, was hit with a $273 fine and served five days in jail.
