Jobs, Ellison to be honored at Bay Area Business Hall of Fame

Oracle CEO Larry Ellison and Apple founder Steve Jobs will be honored by the Bay Area Business Hall Of Fame.

Two tech pioneers are being honored by the Bay Area Business Hall Of Fame. Oracle CEO Larry Ellison and Apple founder Steve Jobs will be inducted into the Bay Area Business Hall of Fame in November.

Jobs, who died in 2011, co-founded Apple in 1977.

Ellison also co-founded his company in 1977 and turned Oracle into one of the world's largest hardware and software companies.

Other Bay Area leaders in the hall of fame include George Lucas, William Hewlett and David Packard and Gap chairman Donald Fisher.
